ICE Agents Stick it to 'Sanctuary' State

Last year the California legislature, in defiance of federal law, declared itself a "sanctuary state." However, that hasn't stopped ICE from doing its job – even if they have to arrest illegal immigrants in court. (TheBlaze)

     ICE agents entered Sacramento Superior Court earlier this month to arrest an immigrant, Yovanny Ontiveros-Cebreros, according to his lawyer, Charles Pacheco. The Sacramento Bee claimed the move could have a “chilling effect” across California.

    Judge Lawrence Brown initially stepped in to prevent the arrest, Pacheco said. But after spending time in his judicial chambers, Brown allowed ICE agents to complete their job, telling Pacheco the agents had a warrant for his client’s arrest.

Yes, Pat Buchanan wrote about building a wall/fence, sanctuary cities way back in the 2000s, with those books like "Death of the West", "Suicide of a Superpower" and so on. I"m sure he wasn't the first either to give warning on some of these issues.

I was arguing for "a wall of America" back in the early 1990's in the old America Online issues forums.

I called for such a barrier before Buchanan.

No, I believe you. Pat may well have said way back then, but a lot of people will say such. Some people seem to think no one thought of it until 2015/16.
