Speaking to you're valid point about his Vietnam experience while that may have been heroic it doesn't mean everything else in his life was. If anything the reverse is true. The rest of his life is best described as being a back stabbing liar who only thought of his self importance.

If you accuse me of hate, that is bearing false witness.  The statement is open-ended.  Now, if one is posting pictures of Cruz spewing profanity in threads, I plead not guilty, if you are okay with that in threads unrelated to Cruz, I suppose we have another disagreement.

Seeing how some pick and choose what they like about a candidate and don't really follow what he says though,  then, they should not be lecturing others.

Some people seem to just sow division, that is not in reference to anyone specific. I probably do it myself.

True dat.  She was... pre-McCain VP disaster... mostly off the radar of the rabid left.  They set out to destroy her for daring to run with him against their tin god, Barry.  I shudder to think of a "President McCain" and what that would have meant for America... but... as much as I detested him, he still couldn't have been AS BAD as Bathhouse Barry was for this nation.  Degrees and variations of hell, that.

Anyone else offended by this spectacle of the funeral going down for McCain? This guy wasn't a President. Aretha Franklin provided a lot more service and joy to this country and that funeral is celeb studded and it is a fraction of the gaudy that the McCains are putting on.

I agree also but it would be hard to turn down an offer to be a Vice President.  Association with McCain hurt her and then he hurt her again by suggesting she not be invited to his funeral.

But I still admire her for taking the high road.  She was actually abused by two big political figures ... McCain and Trump.
