When autumn can’t come soon enough
Hot weather isn't always a breeze—but there are ways to brave the inevitable stormy days.

It happens every year.

Patients come into my office talking about how they had been so excited for summer to begin, but now they wish for it to be over soon.

When school lets out each spring, it seems we all look forward to warm days and nights and a well-deserved break from school stress—for our kids and for us.

I loathe summer, personally. I think it's my allergies, but I'm basically miserable all summer long. Now we have more hot weather next week, and 80's after that. Another summer that won't end. I honestly think we have indeed altered the climate, i hate to say.

It's the same here.  I don't believe we've altered it, but I do think we're in a global warming phase, unfortunately.  I want 50 degree days and 30 degree nights.

Yes that's true. I was thinking the same last fall. Then we went on an epic cold snap the likes of which I don't recall ever seeing in my lifetime. We had inch thick ice on Thanksgiving. Early January we had temperatures that never got above the single digits in the Fahrenheit scale.

So I don't know what to think, but this weather just seems to bizarre lately. A few years ago we had a freakishly mild winter, I figured that "global warming" was finally here. Next winter we had 7 feet of snow in one month. It piled above my door.

This weather is just weird. Lol.

I can't remember what last winter was like, lol.  I don't think it was severe.  But I do remember being pissed that summer extended so far into fall.  This summer, though...it really hasn't been the worst.  We only had a few days get into the nineties, and we got a LOT of rain.  But yeah, nineties next week for us, too.

I agree, it's strange stuff.

Not a fan of summer either. I love fall. Leaves are so pretty.

Starbucks just started the pumpkin lattes. I guess fall is here, lol

Just got back from an Alaska trip.

Temperatures in the 50s/60s, loved it.

Only downside was hearing all the endless lectures about "Global Warming" on the trip.
