There it is, the binary logic of an ardent Trump supporter. Similar to the phrase, "if you didn't vote for Trump, you obviously wanted Hillary in the White House."

It all comes from the same zeitgeist that now runs their mindset: "you are either 100% with us, or you are to be counted as 100% with the enemy."  There is no middle ground anymore.  You are either with them, or against them.

And since that is the case they insist upon - I choose to be against.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

It's all you ever are.  Against. It defines you.   You are pitiful.

Deal with it.

Or not.

I don't cheerlead bullshit and lies and I will continue to call bullshit and lies and stupidity what they are when I read them.

  • "...and the winning number is...not yours!
Look at how he does things... It is repeated over and over.

Me?  IMO, he utilizes Twitter in that HE decides the news of the day.

The media are like cats chasing the red dot.

The entire globe knows where President Trump stands on North Korea.
If they renege, it actually frees him up to do whatever the hell he wants.

China and Russia are partnering up in Russian war games as a show of strength.

Seems North Korea is going to be the 'Ant Farm' in the experiment.

Irrelevant to the point.
The point is that he already claimed a win in NK, and took his victory lap... And all his acolytes stood cheering, shouting 'winning!'

It doesn't matter a whit if it is bullshit or not.

And every single thing he does is with the same insufferable bombast. And it's all bullshit.

Deregulation comes to mind... where is he at, coming onto 1000 regulations rescinded or redrawn? Fine.... But to hear all the crowing about it, you'd think it was something substantial, not 1000 puny regulations.

But that don't matter... Tump takes another victory lap and we are 'winning'... whee.  *****rollingeyes*****

The so-called victory lap served its purpose.

He said the tests came to a stop and NK verbally agreed to de-nuke, "...and we'll see how it goes. May get nothing, but in said event, Kim and the North Koreans will suffer greatly."

My point stands.

You couldn't buy enough ink ...that 'victory lap' afforded him.

If they weren't True Believers in Trump and any of them actually had any honesty and integrity, how do they determine when or even if Trump is telling the truth... about ANYTHING?  He lied about payments made to silence and hush the porn star he banged while married.  He then lies about North Korea no longer being a threat to the world - so he lies about his personal life and lies about what he does as Chief Executive.  How do they know when he tells the truth?

I guess it is when they want to believe he is telling the truth?  When it is convenient?  Or when they imagine the lie serves some great hidden purpose we mere mortals cannot see?

Or like the Left they claim to oppose, truth is actually now relative and Trump's job is to hide us from the Truth to "protect us"?????

By taking the victory lap, no 'Cowboy' charge can stick.   Now he's free to kick their ass.

@DCPatriot

The President's every comment on this is, even at rallies, ends with:  "We'll see how it goes".   This has cost us nothing and has strengthened our position.  Sanctions remain in place with new ones on the horizon.  And now, if necessary, the President can say to the world:  "We tried.  The bombing started ten minutes ago."

Yes.  Exactly.

You can count on the fact I will be wallpapering the internet and everywhere else with this once that happens:

Then I'll ask in bold neon-letters, how can we believe what Trump says now?

Character used to matter.

And since now it doesn't, I'm the huckleberry to point out the consequences.

On the bright side, at least the NK setback blows the idiot Q LARP out of the water.

There's always a silver lining.  😁

Now RiV, as ardent a devotee of Trump as you are, you of all people I thought would be thrilled with having his words that he typed with his own tiny thumbs plastered everywhere they can possibly be seen.

I know right?

Sadly I have no talent to tie myself up into knots of twisted pretzel logic to explain away the indefensible like you can.

As a slight aside, I am daily seeing former Never-Trumpers doing a 180. Partly it's due to the very situation at hand. People see Trump doing what he can to solve the NK nuke problem, and they also see the Trump-haters criticizing Trump's every move. This goes on day after day, week after week, month after month, etc. People who simply love to hate aren't bothered by it, but everyone else is. End result: a steady flow of new Trump supporters.  😊😁☺

Just gloss over the fact that Trump said it was taken care of. That there's no more nuclear threat from NK... And then a total back peddle not long afterwards...

As long as "he's trying" any lie will do it seems. It can be the exact opposite a few days later but somehow it is "consistent"...

It is interesting watching people totally contort themselves into logical pretzels to make Trump's actions rational. Truth is long gone...

All I did was report what, in fact, I am observing with my own eyes. Namely, NT's who are changing sides and backing Trump.  One common thread in these conversions is the savage, brutal, relentless attacks on Trump. The ones doing the attacking--I'm thinking MSM, Mueller, Antifa, etc.--are trying to hurt Trump. Instead they're creating an environment that appeals to hardcore Trump-haters but revolts almost everyone else.

Iow, hate appeals to aggressive haters, but is unattractive to the average joe.

Ahhh the ubiquitous 'hater'... liberal terminology at it's very finest.
