Paris knifeman kills one in suburb attack

A knifeman has stabbed one person to death and injured two others in a Paris street before being intercepted by police.

Killed his mother and sister, reportedly, but still felt compelled to praise Allah about the whole thing. 

... The Islamic State group claimed it was behind the attack but offered no proof.

Of course, I don't read all articles, the Reuters article has it that the knifeman killed his wife and sister. All violence such as this is bad..... but a random attack seems a bit different and a random attack seems more like "terrorism"...imo.

TRAPPES, France (Reuters) - A man with psychiatric problems fatally stabbed his mother and sister in the Paris suburb of Trappes on Thursday and seriously wounded a third person, French Interior Minister Gerard Collomb said.

The 36-year-old launched his attack in a street in broad daylight before taking refuge in a house. He was shot dead by police when he ran towards them in a threatening way, the minister said.

“It appears the criminal had serious psychiatric problems,” Collomb told reporters in Trappes.
