The media that's pushed this story doesn't give a hoot about her. To them, she was just another missing white woman.Soon enough, they'll move on to another. It's just like the Summer of the Shark: selective coverage to paint a distorted picture of reality.

Even in your death penalty states, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Virginia, there is probably only a small percentage of people executed by the death penalty. This murder may be depraved and deserve it but it's probably a close call to say what murders deserve capital punishment and which don't. So much for such reasoning. @CatherineofAragon
@mrclose Yes. Or even as a high-school student. Kids with that view—white ones—are commonplace. Whoever found that tweet had to go pretty far back in her timeline; it’s as if they were looking for something to smear her with.
It's from last December. But, yes, it's sad.
