Thousands of residents in Nicaragua are taking to the streets once again to continue protesting against President Daniel Ortega.
Demonstrators marched in the capital city Managua on Wednesday, demanding the release of imprisoned political activists and calling for Ortega’s resignation from office.
Dozens of protesters have become political prisoners and nearly 300 people have died due to the president’s handling of the unrest, which started more than four-months ago.
