Street renamed in honor of soldier who died in IraqBUSHWICK -A Brooklyn street was renamed Friday to honor a soldier who was killed while serving in Iraq.The corner of Woodbine Street and Irvine Avenue was renamed "Specialist Rasheed Sahib Way." The new street sign is just feet from the home where Sahib grew up and where his family still lives.Fizoon Ashraf says it's been more than 15 years since his son was killed in the Iraq war, but the pain is still raw.Sahib was born in Guyana and immigrated with his family to Brooklyn in 1988.
