Washington Post columnist: Sarah Sanders should be shunned by employers after she leaves the White House
by Naomi Lim
 | August 05, 2018 09:35 PM

A conservative-leaning Washington Post columnist on Sunday called on White House press secretary Sarah Sanders to be shunned after she leaves the White House, imploring prospective employers not to hire her.

“Sarah Huckabee Sanders is so concerned that people aren’t nice to her,” Jennifer Rubin said during a panel discussion on MSNBC’s "AM Joy." “And people like me think that — not that she should be harassed, that was a lie — but shunned.

"The reason is that she lies,” the staunch Trump critic continued. “She attacks our free press. No respectable employer should hire her after this term, no university, no news outlet."

Sanders had also "endangered the lives of reporters" by defending President Trump's anti-press rhetoric, Rubin said, adding that White House press briefings should no longer be broadcast live on television.

Trump is often over the top, but to be sure, the American press is disgraceful. They're overwhelmingly liberal/leftist and incapable of noticing their hypocrisy and dissembling.
Their worst sin is not out and out lying, but putting out the half truth. They'll print or broadcast stories with a kernel of truth, but fail to tell the whole story.
So, many people will only get the partial truth, and never get all the details.
It's like whenever a Republican president or congress pass some piece of legislation that benefits 99% of the population, the media will find the 1% it didn't do anything for and make it seem like they're the majority.

Jennifer Rubin is WaPo's version of David Brooks (NYT). Token conservative.
She is essentially very very pro-Israel - from which it follows that she thinks the USA is a world leader. Beyond that, she is a Berkeley graduate, strongly supports gay marriage and even had issues with Mitt Romney.

I gave more weight to Mark Levin's criticism of Trump prior to the last GOP primary.

Why the heck should Rubin or any other liberal (or faux conservative) care whether Sanders ever gets another job? Is it really any of their business?

I scanned the piece.

Rubin feels that because Sarah Sanders refused to acknowledge the media's claim that President Trump's language/tweets, calling them "fake news", etc., places them in physical danger...or worse.

Therefore, for not coming to their defense, she should essentially burn in hell.

Apparently because they really, really, really hate her.  Which tells me that she is effective at her job.  The cardinal sin.

This is totally uncalled for.  Jennifer needs to book an appointment with a shrink.  This tribal mentality is unbelievably toxic.  We can't have a civil society when people are shunned for their beliefs.

Unfortunately, most shrinks are left-leaning too.
