Black Hawk helicopter takes out military tent, injuring 22
By Staff Writer| July 19th, 2018

An accident at a military base in California, involving a Black Hawk helicopter and a military tent injured 22 soldiers on Wednesday night.

As the chopper attempted to land at Fort Hunter Liggett, a large Army Reserve Comonad Post in Monterey County, the rotor wash caused a tent structure to collapse.

A majority of the injuries are minor and are being treated at the base but two of the injured were airlifted to Fresno and two others were evacuated to Twin Cities Medical Center in Tempelton, Calif.
