US still states Russia is responsible for downing MH17 plane

US State Department spokesman Heather Nauert said the United States continued to blame Russia for the crash of MH17. This was reported by the press service of the State Department.

“The United States Government has long said that Russia is without a doubt responsible for shooting down MH17,” she said.

Heather Nauert repeated previous statement by the State Department.

Stuff happens in a war zone.

I recall an Iranian flight that was splashed ay one of our ships a while back. While it nay or may not have been a mistake, KAL 007 comes to mind, too, and sometimes folks can be trigger happy.

What was/is can't be changed by politics, though. Either they did or didn't, either it was a 'bad shoot' or it wasn't.
