Convicted murderer Robert Van Hook will be executed by lethal injection at 10 a.m. today - 33 years after he stabbed a man to death in a Cincinnati apartment.

He will be the first killer from Hamilton County to be executed in seven years. He will be the 56th person put to death in Ohio since the death penalty resumed in the state in 1999.

The execution will take place at the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville.

I thought it was Ohio where quite a few executions were stacked up because they didn't have the chemicals.  So, apparently, that time may be over. Also, it seems to be a different time to execute people, 10 AM.

10 AM occurs before most objectors get out of bed.

From news reports, it now appears that Mr. van Hook's body has assumed room temperature.
