@CatherineofAragon @Cyber Liberty @Cyber Liberty, that's not so. I have a problem with it, and I've been generally positive about Trump these past weeks, even defended him against the left. For some here, NeverTrump status is permanent, no matter what, but I don't think you feel that way.
I hang out on Twitter, and I know how widespread the condemnation has been, even from Trump supporters. Even those muppets at Fox and Friends were displeased.
@Free Vulcan
For the record, I've never fainted in my life, and I hate pearls.
FWIW, here are my two cents:
1) Trump has good reason not to trust the Intelligence Community as represented by Brennan, Clapper, and Comey/McCabe/Strzok--especially since their info has been inarguably tainted by the DNC, the Clinton Foundation, the State Department of HRC and Kerry, the Obama DOJ (Holder, Lynch) and the Mueller team. These American institutions are Trump's enemies. Coincidentally, they are America's enemies. No doubt about it.
2) See also my thread on Putin's statement about the NWO and Satanism (
http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,325159.0/topicseen.html). Putin is radically opposed to the global cabal known as the NWO, as is Trump. In this narrow sense, Trump may find it useful to invoke the risky but sometimes useful axiom "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." (Putin is a fierce and not altogether trustworthy competitor [to say the least] of the United States, but Putin
hates the Deep State Cabal that happens to be bent on destroying our Republic. In a manner of speaking, even if Trump did not collude with Putin in 2016, perhaps he should entertain colluding with him now on behalf of our Republic.)
Rumor has it that Putin has now given Trump a huge amount of electronic/digital intelligence to use against the Deep State.
(Anyway, the whole thing is a mess--even bigger than a lot of conservatives have realized. When conservative officeholders and media personalities complain that Trump was playing too nice with Putin, it may be because they do not know what Trump knows and do not know what Trump is doing. [On the more positive side of these matters, recent surveys have shown that the overwhelming majority of Republicans think Trump did a fine job in Helsinki.])
