It's the olde double standard of the leftists, CL.  Yeah, we all know that Putin is a lying, KGB thug.  So they use that to bash Trump for meeting with Putin so they can claim "collusion" with an enemy nation.   But which president was it that really colluded and normalized relations with a commie thug?   That was Obama re: Castro's Cuba.  Double standard.

As pointed out earlier, “they” aren’t “bashing” Trump for meeting with Putin.  That’s a total goalpost move, and you know it.  The issue is Trump blaming America for poor relations with Russia.  So let’s keep that straight.

I’m not there for the endless whataboutism and excuses and “oh, Putin’s a killer BUT.”  If you really have a problem with Presidential apology tours on foreign soil, be consistent.  Or just admit you don’t care when our side does it.

The President has been consistent and vocal in his assessment of the previous administration's dealings with Russia.  The President  has never apologized for even Obama's America.  And he's not doing it now.  The President is condemning Obama and Company ... ridiculing them.  Obama has hurt US interests and the President has zero tolerance for that.   Just as the President has zero tolerance for international trade deals that hurt Americans. 

I hope you're able to understand the difference.

Obama's blame-America stuff was because he really hates America.  That's a fact.  And I already informed you.... Trump's so-called ""blaming America"" isn't the issue with me.  Mostly because I think it's just the usual leftist bash-fest (ie criticize him for EVERY word he utters and even his facial expressions).  I discount it also because I know that Trump, unlike Obama, does NOT hate America.  Trump may be a lot of things, but at least I believe he really does love this country and wants to try to drag us back from the rampant leftism that the Democrat aholes have pushed us towards.
