Ex-Defense Chief: ‘No question’ Putin knows something ‘that intimidates’ Trump

Former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta on Wednesday said that President Trump's performance at a news conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday sent a "clear signal" that the Russians could have compromising material on the U.S. leader.

"There's no question that there is something here that intimidates the president of the United States," Panetta said on MSNBC's "The 11th Hour with Brian Williams."

"It was clear that he was intimidated by that situation," he added. "Whether the Russians have something on this president or not, no one really knows. But the way he behaves, there's a clear signal that the Russians have something on him."

I'll go with Panetta as far as 'Putin knows something'. Clearly he does.

And two days have passed and I've not yet read a single piece of MSM reportage on his offer to share info on the 400 million in laundered money supposedly donated to Clinton from Russian sources. Not one word.

Putin/Clinton/Uranium One.  Of course he knows something.  Intimidating Trump IMHO would be hard to do; unless it was of a threatening nature to himself or his family.  Perhaps he realizes now how deep the corruption really is, or perhaps he himself is involved in the corruption and Putin has made no qualms about using what he knows and/or has done to get what he wants.

Leon Paneta is a snake of the first order but even he gets something right once in a while.  In this case he's right that Putin knows something but I don't think it's Trump who is worried about what he knows!

One thing is for certain.   Putin has got to be laughing his KGB @ss off at Americans right about now.  Why?  Because he knows that no matter how much Americans call him a commie thug.... there are even worse commie and non-commie thugs in high office in America.  And the American populace has been so dumbed-down and protected from the truth by our own leftist media Pravada, that they are clueless about that fact.

Putin knows something but not about Trump.  Trump lived his life in the public eye and whatever unsavory things he did, or things some people regard as unsavory, are all well known.  I cannot imagine Putin knowing anything that could intimidate Trump. 

Hillary, on the other hand, is a different story.  We know she is a ruthless witch but Putin's operatives may have found something more.  There is much to find.  Putin expected her to be elected and he definitely has dirt on her.

I agree entirely.

Trump has been a high profile target for years and apparently has been cognizant of the need to stay clean from a legal standpoint.

Hillary thinks she's immune and has behaved like it.
