Following their well received first album, Big Country released a mini album called "Wonderland" which sold well in the UK. Afterward their second full was released and the fans loved it, but it didn't sell as well as the first album for some reason. I don't know why sales lagged, it flat out rocked and rocked some more... Probable my favorite album ever made.


This is the deluxe edition of the album... presented with double disks (the second disk containing extended plays and rarities). You will love them both...  :yowsa:

After the release of the Steeltown album (see post above)... Big Country decided to do the soundtrack to the movie "Restless Natives"... the movie became a cult hit and the album was sought by BC faithful ... The first half finally appeared first on the b-side to Look Away. The second half appeared on another b-side (I have both). It has since been released a few times on rarities albums by the band and also via the remastered Seer album (2 cds).


More folkish than previous material BC had released, it appealed to folks that loved the roots of Big Country (Scottish culture). I know I loved it.

The one song missing is an extended version of the title track that was remixed and never released... It remains a holy grail of want from both Big Country and Kate Bush fans.
