Mitt Romney: 'Too early' to say if I'll support Trump in 2020
by Daniel Chaitin
 | July 01, 2018 09:03 PM

Mitt Romney said it is "too early" to say he will support President Trump in 2020.

The Utah candidate for U.S. senator further explained to MSNBC's Kasie Hunt, in an interview that aired Sunday evening, that his prior prediction that Trump will get re-elected was not an endorsement.

"I also think Gavin Newsom will get elected [as governor] in California. That's not something I want to see, it's just something that's probably going to happen," Romney added.

That's annoying.  He could easily have dodged that question.  He's being a jerk.

No doubt, he thinks that tens of millions await his decision.

But they don't

Wishy-washy (a squish) as usual.   Mitt probably thinks the establishment RINOs will all support him now.  He's wrong about that too, I'm betting.  They might have if he had actually taken a stance and admitted "hell no, I won't support him".   Too late now!

We're talking about >2 years worth of events that could change a person's mind.  The lazy media want to promote this stuff like it's news, but his answer was the only reasonable one he could give at this point.
