  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...

All over the country, Republicans are attacking vulnerable Democratic senators as pawns of Chuck Schumer, the most polarizing Democratic leader second only to Nancy Pelosi.

Kyrsten Sinema, one of the party’s most-prized recruits and a keystone of Democrats’ long-shot hopes of capturing the Senate this fall, has a ready rejoinder.

“I am not going to vote for him,” she said matter-of-factly when pressed on her view of the Democratic leader.

Hell she might be more republican than the republicans running against her.

"Sinema is staking her surprisingly strong campaign for Arizona’s open Senate seat on her close relationships with Republicans, praise for moderate Democrats and a distaste for the Democratic leader."

There's no such thing as a 'Moderate Democrat' anymore than there's any such thing as a 'Democratic Socialist'.

She's a Democrat, period.

Her distaste for Schumer is nothing more than political calculation, and it'll probably work for her.

This makes her Doubly unacceptable because she's a fairly Smart Democrat unlike the buffoons acting as the face of their seditious band of bandits at the moment.
My 'Viking Hunter' High Adventure Alternate History Series is FREE, ALL 3 volumes, at most ebook retailers including Ibooks, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more.

In Vol 2 the weapons come out in a winner take all war on two fronts.

Vol 3 opens with the rigged murder trial of the villain in a Viking Court under Viking law to set the stage for the hero's own murder trial.

You make a very good point.  But still, I'd hit that in a NY minute!

And I wouldn't fault you for it either!  :silly:

Personally, my tastes would run to Anthony Kennedy's possible relacement. Amy Coney Barrett

And not just for the Woo Hoo! factor.

I'd feel a whole lot safer waking up the next morning.

This, . . . .

@endicom

If the NT folks ever needed a more compelling reason to put aside whatever animus they hold against DJT, . . . . . THIS is it.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer are 85 and 79.

I can't see Ginsburg grimly holding on through another 6 years of Trump before she hangs it up.

We must re-elect Trump to be there waiting with an originalist to replace her and a Majority in the Senate to ram through their confirmation.

Democrat thinking. IF they take back Congress and the WH in 2020, the article endorses their Expanding the Supreme Court so they can regain control of it, and there goes the rule of law again back out the window.
