President Trump hosted the Prime Minister of the Netherlands at the White House Monday. The mainstream media was on hand to embarrass itself. Benny Johnson reports:

The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, was clearly shook by all the reporters shouting questions. Trump told the PM at the beginning of the meeting that it’s like the “Academy Awards” as all the cameras flashed. After the presser, reporters continued shouting at the top of their lungs at the pair of world leaders.

Thanks for posting--it's one of the best things I've seen all day. Mirengoff's take was perfect.  Normal people seeing the press behave like hysterical hyenas are appalled.  To paraphrase Paul, 'Keep it up--it only benefits Trump.'

I think that Rutte will return home with a much better understanding of Trump and the political state of the US.

Agree 100%. And Rutte will share his gobsmacking experience with other EU leaders, and very slowly the European perception of Trump will change. It won't be a paradigm shift but it will be an eye-opener, and every little bit helps.
