YADKIN COUNTY, NC (The Yadkin Ripple) – A Hamptonville man has been charged in a sexual abuse case involving a child.

On June 13, the Yadkin County Sheriff’s office received a report of sexual abuse of a child, according to a release from the sheriff’s office Tuesday afternoon.

Following an investigation, Roaldo Padilla, 44, of Hamptonville, was arrested and has been charged with one count of felony crime against nature, one count of felony indecent liberties with a child and one count of felony sex act substitute parent/custodian.
