Interesting business model. Like Starbucks, they have just transformed their restaurant from a place that serves food into a political cause instead. And, they have driven away at least 50% of potential customers. I give them less than a year left in business. I have no desire to eat at a place where just walking in the door is a political statement. I just want to eat and be left alone, not in some fascist Liberal echo chamber.

Next they will enact a policy that homeless people eat for free. Obviously these guys are financial geniuses.

Yeah, it was stupid.  Last night we had a family dinner at our regular place, Shoemaker’s Grille, which has the best damn steaks and wine and everybody should try if they visit Lynchburg, VA.  My Trump-loving father-in-law, God love him, was teasing me again about getting me a red Trump cap, and extolling Trump’s virtues.  He said to our server, “You’re being awfully quiet during all this political talk.”  She grinned and said, “Listen, I’m neutral.  My job is to keep you happy at the table.”

Smart, in my opinion.

In the tech industry, especially software, the bias against veterans still exists even today. Most of the hiring managers in a software company are going to be 30ish and have never even seen a gun in their life. When they hear 'veteran' it does actually scare them. Simply because they do not really understand what military service is, and they think it is all about killing people. Their ignorance will hinder veterans from being hired.

They feel safer hiring the 25yr old who is fresh out of college and still living with his mommy.

I went back and checked again today and almost all the other restaurants with the same name have had to pull their pages down off social media. Good job mob, you* are attacking and hurting unrelated businesses. I even saw a bar in Ireland with the same name was getting harassed....

They opposed the riots of 1968 (democrat convention) and elected Nixon. Then 4 years later, after McGovern called Nixon a Nazi or Hitler, they elected him again in a landslide.

A few years later the same people, ordinary hard working common sense Americans, elected Reagan twice.

Folks that don't grasp that, will continue doing what they are doing.

I predict there is a good chance, these types of things, are repeating.

Elsewhere I've seen loons calling for boycotts against the vendors who supply the restaurant with food.  Yay, let's put some people out of work, what a fantastic idea.
