Trump calls into Senate GOP lunch to discuss North Korea

President Trump called into the Senate GOP lunch from Air Force One on Tuesday to discuss North Korea, according to a senator who attended the gathering.

Trump's call to the closed-door GOP lunch held at the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) came hours after his historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore.

"We just got off the phone with the president of the United States from Air Force One on his plane back from Singapore. He sounded confident and upbeat, as he should," Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) told reporters after the caucus lunch.

Trump's call into the Senate GOP meeting comes after he and Kim signed a document committing the United States to unspecified “security guarantees” in exchange for a denuclearized Korean Peninsula.

How do we really know he did this.  Is it verifiable?
