Usually while driving down the Highway a pulled over vehicle is a hassle. It slows down traffic, as many people nosily look to see what is going on. In this case, it was a good thing that Marine Veteran, Darren Phillips, was paying attention to the pulled over vehicle. To his surprise, he saw a State Trooper wrestling with the driver he had pulled over.
Phillips sprung to action he pulled over his rig and ran to the Officer’s aid.
“I put my brakes on, and I jump out and by this time, the trooper is on his back and the guy is on top of him. The trooper saw me running over and as soon as I got up to him, he says, ‘He’s going for my gun.’â€
