They have long been choosing the winner by picking the gal who can give the most stupefyingly lame/dishonest/PC answer to their dangerously loaded Final questions.  Any conservative who gives an honest, sensible answer is immediately ruled out.  Finally, they are admitting that it's not going to be a beauty/talent pageant anymore.  It will be a Social Justice pageant. 

It's just the natural devolution of Miss America, as with America as a whole.  Pretty soon it will be closed to all whites and all biological females.

The funniest part of this is that the pageant has had a hard enough time getting on TV as it is! They have a year left on their current deal with ABC, but their ratings have been plummeting for years: it's bounced from ABC, to Country Music TV, then TLC, and now back to ABC.

With no swimsuit or evening gown competition, almost all of the visual appeal of the program has been stripped from it. You're left with the talent and the interview questions, a bastardized cross between Meet the Press and Star Search. Who's going to want to watch that?!

No swimsuits is like  advertising for a rodeo  but saying that no roping or riding of animals would be involved. The rodeo would consist of ropes tricks  and watching  horses and cows being fed. A lecture about animal cruelty would also be a regular feature. Sponsored by PETA.
