So ridiculous.  If she had some type of surgery, certainly she needs time to recover.  Most recovery periods after surgery is around 4-6 weeks.

Despite widely circulated conspiracy theories and breathless media speculation that she was "missing in action," first lady Melania Trump attended a scheduled White House event honoring Gold Star families Monday evening.

Videos of the first lady at the event, which marked her first public appearance in more than three weeks after undergoing a kidney procedure at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, were quickly posted on social media.

I have been told that "right-wing" and "conservative" in foreign countries don't mean the same as they do in the US -- or at least what they used to mean here.  I think those "conservatives" outside the US still believe in big government and socialist programs.  How they differ from liberals isn't clear to me. Maybe the "conservatives" in those countries are more hawkish  on defense and in foreign relations. Perhaps someone here can explain the difference. 

So I won't celebrate a "right-wing" victory in Slovenia just yet. But I do wish the guy and his country all the best.

First lady Melania Trump appeared at her first official event at the White House on Monday since she underwent a procedure in May to deal with what her office described as a benign kidney condition.

The White House's Gold Star families Memorial Day reception was closed to the press, but Daily Caller reporter Jena Greene appeared to be in attendance and shared a brief clip of the first lady and her husband President Trump walking into the room together.
