Romney reveals he wrote in wife's name for president in 2016

Mitt Romney revealed Wednesday that when it came time to vote for president in 2016, he wrote in his wife Ann’s name.

"I wrote in the name of a person who I admire deeply, who I think would be an excellent president," Romney told the editorial boards of Utah's Deseret News and KSL. "I realized it wasn't going to go anywhere, but nonetheless felt that I was putting in a very solid name."

The former GOP presidential nominee and current Utah Senate candidate had not previously stated publicly for whom he had voted in the 2016 presidential election.

   What a Trouper.  I still Love my X wives, but no way would I vote for either of them, if you think it was bad when hellary took the WH China you ain't seen nothing.

I'm sorry I voted for this guy.
I should have "left that space blank".
I can get away with doing such things because I'm in Connecticut and no Republican presidential candidate can win here (barring some incredible turn of events in the future...).

    Romney and Trump, both, were a Bridge too far for me.  McCain was my last 'lessor of two evils' Vote in the General. 
    But I know what you mean @Fishrrman about your State, because when Republican Presidential Candidates start losing in Texas theirs nothing I can do to stop the bleeding.

Romney is pathetic so is McCain and I had no choice but to vote for them I just held my nose. Thankfully Trump came along and I was finally since Reagan glad to vote for a person I really wanted for president. It does feel good to win.

I am so glad I did not vote for this clown. 

Actually, his wife might have been a far better choice for president than Mitt.  She may have more balls than he does.

Obama's election and re-election were rigged, and the Republican Party was a party to the fix.  They engineered the primaries to ensure that Mitt would win the nomination -- even to the point of making sure Herman Cain would be discredited by dubious allegations of impropriety from several women.  Who do you think paid those women to come forward?  And once Cain dropped out, the women all disappeared. 

The plan worked and Obama, being the Democrat darling, won.  People weren't really interested in two Republican liberals.  Why go for Obama-lite when you could have the real thing?  McCain and Romney were just meant to be token opposition.  Nothing more.

Things looked good for him, and it made perfect "sense" by conventional wisdom to run a conservative, no-risk campaign, especially knowing that any minor slip would be blown up into a major incident by the media and with his opponent.  He went into Prevent Defense...and got what often happens to those who employ that strategy.
