Unable to get the European Union to renegotiate trade agreements, President Trump announced the imposition of tariffs on steel and aluminum from Europe. The press in America naturally sides with Europe, which is becoming more like the Soviet Union by the day.

Which leaves it to me to tell the American side of the trade war with Europe.

We would have to go country by country to see how equitable is the tariff balance to know if Trump is simply evening the score. I see nothing wrong with evening the score.

It is also the best time to squeeze these bastards in new negotiations because the US economy is humming and the EU, Japan and Mexico are flat on their back.
