While some areas of the country celebrated Memorial Day by thanking a soldier or hosting American-themed barbecues, a high school in California must have forgotten the meaning of real patriotism this weekend.
The Clovis High School softball team played against Buchanan High at the beginning of Memorial Day Weekend, but surprised fans after announcing they wouldn’t be singing the national anthem before the game. No reason was given for the decision, but fans weren’t happy.
