Here's a theory:

@emzanotti
Not that any of you asked but my galaxy brain take on Kate Middleton is that she’s recovering from Crohn’s and had a resection or something so she’s got a colostomy bag or is on prednisone so she doesn’t want to be photographed, but that the palace is super happy everyone is occupied with it because King Charles is way worse than they’re telling us and you’re too busy dissecting photoshops to care about it

Hey Royals, just tell us what's up with Kate.  We're adults.

If the Royals don't want their health maladies to be public knowledge, they should get off the public dole.

Poorly photoshopped pics only allows people's imaginations to run wild.

What We Know About Catherine, Princess of Wales’s Cancer Diagnosis

Quote

The princess said that the cancer had been discovered after abdominal surgery and that she was receiving “preventative chemotherapy.”

When Catherine, Princess of Wales, revealed on Friday evening that she had been diagnosed with cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy, it brought to a head months of speculation about her well-being.

Her prolonged absence from public life in recent months had driven a wave of theories and wild rumors about her health, her whereabouts and even the state of her marriage to Prince William.

Here’s what we know about her diagnosis and treatment.

Nostradamus' Predictions Resurface Amid UK Royal Family's Health Concerns

Quote

Ancient predictions by 15th-century-prophet Nostradamus are resurfacing amid current events involving Kate Middleton and King Charles' health issues. Nostradamus, who correctly predicted the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the bombing of Hiroshima and the rise of Napoleon, foretold difficult times for the monarchy in 2024.

Nostradamus, in his cryptic verses written centuries ago, predicted the potential abdication of a king and the rise of an unexpected successor, which now seems to echo the current situation involving King Charles and Prince Harry. The ancient prophet said the "King of the Isles" would be "driven out by force” and will be "replaced by one who will have no mark of a king."

King Charles is suffering from cancer, which was discovered when he was undergoing treatment for an enlarged prostate. Royal observers speculated that King Charles might step down, either voluntarily or due to pressure related to his health. However, the question of how Prince Harry, who has shown little interest in royal duties, would end up as king remains unanswered.

Should something happen to William due to stress, or unable to serve should something happen to Kate, or for other reasons, his son George would then become king.  However, due to George's age he would be assigned a 'regent' and that person would likely be the next adult heir who would be his Uncle Harry.

Harry becoming regent would be quite a surprising turn of events.  Although he would have to leave the States and move back to the U.K.

IMHO I think Markle would be foaming at the mouth at a second chance of power and title and very willingly leave CA. Something tells me IF this scenario were to play out, that perhaps Harry would not give up the throne willingly when George turned 18.

Personally, I feel at this time the Royals need prayers -- especially King Charles and Princess Catherine.  William has his hands full.

King Charles will be taking it easy on Easter Sunday.

The monarch, 75, who has battled against cancer in recent months, has been laying low as part of his recovery.

As a result, Charles is set to sit apart from the other members of the royal family during the church service on Sunday at Windsor Castle’s St. George’s Chapel.

According to The Telegraph, the king will stay away from the main public on Easter to make sure that remains safe and healthy.  ...

Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, will be absent from Sunday’s events, as the Duchess of Cambridge, 42, is battling her own cancer.  ...

King Charles Attends Easter Service in First Major Public Appearance Since His Cancer Diagnosis

Quote

Published on March 31, 2024 05:55AM EDT

King Charles made his most significant public appearance on Sunday since beginning cancer treatment, leading the royal family for Easter church service at Windsor Castle.

The King, 75, and Queen Camilla, 76, arrived at St. George's Chapel for the Easter Mattins Service by car. He greeted the church clergy upon his arrival and then waved to the gathering crowd outside the chapel before making his way in.

Following medical advice, the royal couple were seated apart from the rest of the royal family and other attendees during the service to minimize the risk of infection. As per the orders of King Charles's doctors, neither he nor Camilla, who looked festive in a green coat dress accessorized by an emerald and diamond brooch that belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth, will attend a reception or host a private family lunch after the service.

King Charles: The unluckiest royal name in history?

Quote

When King Charles ascended to the British throne after the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, in September 2022, there were murmurs of surprise when he took the name King Charles III. Rumors had persisted for years he could possibly take another name due to the unlucky history of his predecessors, who were called Charles.

When Buckingham Palace announced in early February that Charles was suffering from cancer, there were many who must have thought, “Here we go again.” The Royal Family had already been rocked in recent times due to Charles’s second son, Prince Harry, resigning from his royal duties and moving to the United States with his wife, Meghan Markle. Rumors have also persisted recently regarding the health of the future queen, Kate Middleton, due to infrequent public appearances and apparent tampered social media photos.

But is it true that Charles is an unlucky name for a monarch? Here, we take a look at some of the unfortunate holders of that royal moniker.

There is no way the Brits are going to allow Harry to be the Regent to George.  NO WAY!!!

Charles is mortal, and when his time comes, his son will take his place as King.  PERIOD!!!!   Any other speculation is idiotic.

Juicy gossip? Perhaps.  But the way Harry and Markle have acted, I do believe that there may be some truth in them wanting the throne all along.  With an odd twist of fate, Princess Catherine is stricken with cancer.

William would have to give up the throne and next in line would be his son George, but according to the line of succession his Uncle Harry would be regent until he turned 18.  Could Harry though change the rules knocking out George, Charlotte and Louis?? Perhaps Charles right now has to take action to ensure that Harry can't become  the regent.

I pray that Catherine will soon be cancer free.  The Royal family has been through quite a lot.

Prince Harry Thinks Meghan Markle ‘Should Take Over as Queen,’ Royal Biographer Angela Levin Claims

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, may be stateside, but the duke believes that his wife “should take over as queen” of Great Britain, royal biographer Angelina Levin claimed in a candid conversation with Uncancelled’s Dan Wooton.

“[Harry] thinks that it was very bad that Meghan wasn't questioned about what should be done to make the royal family up to date,” Angela said in the interview published on Monday, April 8, about the dynamic Harry and Meghan shared with the firm before they moved to California. “And [Meghan] said herself that she felt that they should have asked her what should be done rather than Kate because she is a self-made woman and she's got much more experience.”

It would be a historical scenario to allow for Harry and Meghan’s reign. Prince William, the direct heir to the British throne, would have to remove himself from the line of succession, as would his three children. Only then would Harry, 39, and Meghan, 42, be able to step in, ensuring a Sussex-led monarchy.

Angela – who spent 15 months with Harry while writing her best-selling biography Harry: Conversations with the Prince – further commented on the relationship the prince and Meghan shared with late Queen Elizabeth II, who went to great lengths to guarantee the couple’s comfort within the royal family.

“The queen did everything possible. She gave them top aides to help her and she did say that Meghan could carry on acting if she wanted,” Angela revealed. “The more you think about it in retrospect, the more you see that, whatever happened, [Meghan] wasn't going to stay there. She was going to take Harry away because she got what she wanted: A title and lots of money. But he hasn't got as much money as she wanted, she's a bit upset about that. She thought it would be more.”

She continued, “[Harry] was loved. Meghan was admired when she first came. But it was all a plot. They want to bring down the royal family and get rid of the press. No more newspapers. That's his thing that he wants to do forever to get control of it.”

Harry’s complex relationship with the print media, paparazzi and now social media is well-documented, as the prince has gone to great lengths to secure his and Meghan’s privacy. He was part of a lawsuit against Mirror Group Newspaper over alleged phone-hacking in 2023, coming out victorious against the media company. He’s also sued News Group Newspapers and Associated Newspapers over a number of grievances, including libel and the printing of a private letter between Meghan and her father, Thomas Markle. Now, as Angela claims, such actions were part of a larger alleged plot.

Complicating the muddied royal waters – namely the future of the throne and who will sit on it – is Princess Kate Middleton’s ongoing cancer battle. After revealing her diagnosis in March, the Princess of Wales, 42, has remained behind closed doors, adding fuel to the already-ignited fire about the monarchy’s stability. William, 41, is “furious” at the status of things as well as with his brother, who he believes is making matters worse, Angela claimed. ...................

Prince Harry ‘regrets losing’ Kate Middleton, ‘torn between loyalty’ to wife Meghan Markle: expert
By Social Links for Nika Shakhnazarova

Prince Harry is feeling “torn” and regretful over losing the close bond he once shared with sister-in-law Kate Middleton, according to a royal expert.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, and his wife, Meghan Markle, have reached out to the Princess of Wales, 42, following the news of her cancer diagnosis.

And according to author Tom Quinn, Harry “really misses” the friendship he and Middleton once shared.

“[Harry] really misses that warm, uncomplicated relationship, and he is torn between loyalty to his wife and regret about the loss of the woman he was so close to,” Quinn told the Mirror.

However, Quinn claims that the Duchess of Sussex does not share her husband’s sentiment when it comes to her sister-in-law.

“Meghan doesn’t feel guilty about Kate, because she feels that Kate should’ve been the one person in the royal family to back her against every difficulty,” Quinn shared.

“Apart from anything else, Meghan knew Kate was an outsider, so she just couldn’t understand why Kate always towed the royal line rather than supporting her, Meghan, the other outsider.”

King Charles Is Being Pressured To Change the Rules To Prevent Harry & Andrew From Ruling

Members of Parliament are calling on King Charles to amend the Regency Act of 1937 for a reason that might be a bit controversial. Apparently, some fear that someday Prince Harry or Prince Andrew could serve as head of the royal family, and the new king could change the laws so that never happens. But if he does that to make those in power happy, he could end up in even deeper drama with his youngest son ...

According to the Express, members of Parliament are worried that either Harry or Andrew will be able to wield the powers given to the king if they are called up to step in for the monarch.

"The House knows that the Regency Act is still very relevant: it is the only reason why it was possible to open the current Session of this Parliament," Viscount Stansgate explained.

If something were to happen to the king, Prince William would be the next in line for the throne, followed by his three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

All three of William's children are underage, however, so if the Regency Act of 1937 is activated, that means that Harry and Andrew (in that order) would be the next people eligible to wear the crown.

"Does the Minister not think it is time to approach the King to discuss the potential amendment of this Act, and in particular Clause 6, which at the moment defines regents in relation to their line of succession to the Crown?" he asked the minister.

"Otherwise, are the Government happy to continue with a situation where the counsels of state and regency powers may be exercised by the Duke of York or the Duke of Sussex, one of whom has left public life and the other of whom has left the country? Is it not time for the Government to approach the King to see whether a sensible amendment can be made to this Act?".......

Prince Harry lines up London trip after not speaking to Prince William, Kate Middleton for a year

Prince Harry lines up London trip after not speaking to Prince William, Kate Middleton for a year
By Social Links for Sara Nathan
Published April 15, 2024, 5:03 p.m. ET

Prince Harry is set to return to the UK in just a few weeks — sparking questions over whether he will finally see Prince William and cancer-stricken Kate Middleton, after not speaking to his brother in more than a year.

The Duke of Sussex, 39, is slated to speak at a special service marking the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games, the Olympics-style contest for wounded service personnel which he founded, at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London on May 8.

The potential visit comes as it was revealed Monday that Harry has lost an initial bid to appeal against a High Court ruling over his personal security in the UK.

In February, he lost his legal challenge against the Home Office’s decision to change the level of his personal security when he visits the UK as he’s no longer a working royal.

A well-placed source said, “Everyone is asking whether Harry will see his father and will he see Kate and the Wales kids — if not his brother?”

Meghan Markle's former aide breaks silence on past staffers' bullying claims made against Duchess of Sussex
Christina Dugan Ramirez
~3 minutes

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's former aide has confirmed she was questioned during an investigation surrounding claims of bullying made against the Duchess of Sussex.

During an interview with Australian newspaper The Herald Sun on Monday, Samantha Cohen — who was a Buckingham Palace staffer for nearly 20 years before leaving in 2019 — revealed she was one of 10 staff members questioned during the investigation.

While she didn't directly speak about the investigation, she revealed the Palace was unable to find a replacement aide for the Duke and Duchess due to the high staff turnover.

Buckingham Palace launched an investigation in March 2021 after reports alleged that Meghan Markle had bullied staffers.  (Samir Hussein)

"I was only supposed to stay for six months but stayed for 18 — we couldn’t find a replacement for me and when we did, we took them on tour to Africa with Harry and Meghan to show them the ropes, but they left (quit) as well while in Africa," she said.

A representative for Markle did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital's request for comment.

Buckingham Palace launched the investigation in March 2021 after reports alleged that Markle had driven out two personal assistants and that staff had been "humiliated" on several occasions during her time living in Kensington Palace.

‘Sussex Survivors Club’: Meghan Markle ‘bullying’ claims could tarnish lifestyle brand
By Social Links for Lauren Sarner
Published April 24, 2024, 12:26 p.m. ET

The duchess is jammed up.

Meghan Markle, 42, has a new lifestyle brand called American Riviera Orchard, which will include products like jars of jam.

But “bullying” claims may hurt the brand, a royal expert says.

“Where there’s smoke, there’s fire,” business development consultant Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital.

“There have been too many examples of the ‘Sussex Survivors Club’ for the allegations not to be true … In contrast, not even one such report has ever been raised regarding Kate Middleton.”

Fordwich was referring to former palace aide Samantha Cohen, who confirmed in a recent interview with the Australian Herald Sun that she was one of 10 staffers who were questioned about allegations that Markle “bullied” staffers during her time in the palace.

In 2017, Cohen, who had previously worked for Queen Elizabeth, was tasked with getting Markle ready for the royal family.

Royal expert Tom Bower wrote in the Daily Mail on Tuesday, “Certainly, I believe that Ms. Cohen was soon exasperated, within six months or so, and that Meghan either disagreed with, or failed to understand, the non-negotiable elements of royalty. I also believe that members of Samantha Cohen’s team viewed this as an irresponsible self-indulgence. Both sides would blame a clash of cultures.”

Cohen, who resigned in 2018, compared her former job to “working with teenagers,” according to “Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown” by Valentine Low.

Why Prince Louis’s Sixth Birthday Portrait Was Unlike Any Other

Amid Catherine, the Princess of Wales's cancer battle, royal fans and observers were left wondering if Kate Middleton would continue her annual tradition by sharing an image of Prince Louis for his sixth birthday. By early afternoon in England, Louis's adorable portrait arrived, but behind the scenes, the protocol for sharing it was slightly different than in years past.

The Daily Express reported on April 23 (Louis's birthday) that Middleton's photo arrived later than normal because she is continuing to maintain her privacy as she receives cancer treatment. A past scandal also contributed to the timeline.

King Charles: At last some cautious optimism after the royal gloom

This is the first time that Buckingham Palace has said anything officially about the King's condition since revealing his cancer diagnosis.

So it's a significant moment, breaking the silence with a positive message about his treatment and announcing, if not a complete return to good health, then at least the first green shoots of recovery.

There has been so much terrible news for the royals this year - the Princess of Wales as well as the King facing cancer - that this must feel like a badly needed change.

Like the picture of the King and Queen in Buckingham Palace's gardens, there's a touch of summer after a long bleak winter.

The dramatic Buckingham Palace statement, which more or less came with its own drum roll, has created a much more optimistic mood.

King Charles is going to resume the type of big engagements that he's had to cancel all year.

Anyone who has gone on a royal visit will have seen how much encounters with the public cheer him up, he's often shaking hands and swapping jokes with those he meets. He does literally seem to want to be a hands-on monarch........

..............The latest news suggests the King is well enough to host a state visit too, with the Emperor and Empress of Japan arriving in late June - an event which would usually involve the full royal red carpet treatment. These are the soft power moments where the King, as head of state, plays a pivotal role.

The last state visit was by the South Korean president and it showed the King's willingness to be creative with diplomacy, including having the band outside Buckingham Palace play 'Gangnam Style'. That was only before Christmas but it seems like a lifetime ago in royal news.

Royal commentator Richard Palmer, who has followed Charles's visits for many years, thinks the King will be keen to get his reign back on course.

"The King got off to a tremendous start in the new reign, much better than many royal watchers expected, but his and Kate's health problems have knocked the monarchy off course. He is a workaholic so I'm sure he has missed public-facing duties," said Mr Palmer.

He'll now have a second chance to start his reign.......................

I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

Duchess of Edinburgh: Sophie becomes first member of Royal Family to visit Ukraine since Russia's invasion

Quote

The Duchess of Edinburgh has become the first member of the Royal Family to visit Ukraine since Russia's full-scale invasion began in February 2022.

Sophie's trip was to "demonstrate solidarity with the women, men and children impacted by the war", said Buckingham Palace.

The palace also said it was a continuation of her work to champion survivors of conflict-related sexual violence.

The duchess, 59, met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the first lady Olena Zelenska.

We don't mention Sophie enough here, but she seems really nice and genuine.

Agree @Gefn  --- and the Queen is said to have 'trusted' and 'relied' on Sophie Wessex to a greater extent than many in her inner circle, including even the then Duchess of Cornwall. Some royal experts claimed she saw Sophie as 'more like a daughter' than a daughter-in-law.

The special bond between The Queen and the Countess of Wessex
Good Housekeeping/UK, Sep 2022

In the last week, Sophie, The Countess of Wessex, has been called Queen Elizabeth’s "second daughter"; and indeed, the depth of her clearly felt grief has been striking. According to royal expert Jennie Bond, who knew her before she married The Queen’s youngest son Prince Edward, the relationship between mother and daughter-in-law became stronger and stronger as the years passed.

“They genuinely liked one another, and they spent a lot of time together,” says Bond, who was the BBC’s royal correspondent for 14 years, and who has been reporting on The Royal Family for three decades. “They seemed to very much enjoy one another’s company. I think it was very much a two-way relationship. It wasn’t just about an adoration of the queen by Sophie; it was a mutual friendship.”
