The baby boy or girl will be born 11th in line to the throne, but will not be an HRH or hold a title - unless the Queen steps in.

The couple are said to be "very pleased".

A post from the Royal Family's account on Twitter confirmed the news and added the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh are "delighted".

And Eugenie, who is 10th in line to the throne, posted a photo of two tiny, furry slippers on her Instagram, teasing: "Jack and I are so excited for early 2021."

The baby will be a ninth great-grandchild for the Queen, following the arrival of her eighth - the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are said to have agreed to star in a fly-on-the-wall Netflix reality series with cameras following them for three months.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are hoping to 'give people a glimpse into their lives and see all the charity work they do', according to a source.

It comes after the royal couple signed a £112million Netflix deal to make TV series, films and children's shows for the streaming service.

Harry and Meghan will be followed for three months but it is not clear whether cameras will be allowed into their home in Montecito, California.

A source told The Sun: 'They may have had all these lofty ideas about producing epics highlighting environmental causes and the poverty gap, but Netflix obviously want their pound of flesh.

'It will all be very tasteful, and not Katie Price and Peter Andre-style reality TV, but they want to give people a glimpse into their lives and see all the charity work they do.'

According to the source, much of the series will be about their philanthropic work rather than what they get up to behind closed doors.

Prince Harry is finally flying across the pond to visit his grandmother after months in the US, but will wife Meghan Markle be with him? And will Queen Elizabeth strip his titles — or his visa — after his biting comments on the Biden-Trump race?

Questions are swirling around Buckingham Palace once again after staffers received orders to get the royal couple’s former home, Frogmore Cottage, ready for a visit soon from Harry, The Daily Mail reported.

“Harry and Meghan have burnt some significant bridges that may be beyond repair,” royal biographer Penny Junor told The Mirror. “Right now, that doesn’t seem to bother them. And I can’t see Meghan ever wanting a way back.”

Congressman Demands Harry and Meghan Be Stripped of Royal Titles for Interfering in U.S. Election

Republican Congressman Jason Smith has written to the British government, demanding that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle be stripped of their royal titles, claiming that the couple is using their royal status to interfere in the election against President Trump.

The Missouri lawmaker accused the royal couple of trying to use their titles to campaign against President Donald Trump’s campaign, violating the tradition of the British Royal Family to abstain from interfering in political matters.

In a letter addressed to British Ambassador to the United States, Karen Pierce, Congressman Smith wrote: “As you know, the British Royal Family has long observed a policy of strict neutrality in regard to political matters. I am therefore concerned by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s recent comments regarding the United States Presidential Election, especially given international conversations surrounding foreign interference in our elections and the Duke’s status as a guest of the United States.”

Most of us don't have the benefit of a royal upbringing (with the warnings inherent in that and tradition) that he had, either.
