Lets see how this President responds (maybe he won't import the disease like his predecessor).

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Global Security has picked this up, now, https://www.globalsecurity.org/security/library/news/2018/05/sec-180513-presstv01.htm?_m=3n%2e002a%2e2290%2eiq0ao0bbd6%2e23x3

So far, only 18 reported dead, but the UN and Congo health officials are trying to contain and get ahead of this outbreak, especially after the outbreak in Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Liberia in 2014-2016 which killed over 11000 people. The current outbreak threatens the provincial capital of Mbandaka ,with a population in six figures, and connected by river to Kinshasha; by air to the world.

Because in the event of a large outbreak like that in 2014 of the opportunity for the disease to spread to neighboring nations and the world, the UN (WHO) is being more aggressive than they were in the previous outbreak.
