Massive alligator takes casual stroll across golf course right in front of shocked golfers

The 12ft reptile startled a family of deer in the clip, which has been widely shared on social media

 A giant alligator was spotted taking a stroll through a golf course on Tuesday.

Stunned golfers stopped their game after the 12ft beast crept onto the green.

They filmed the animal saunter past a family of deer, also on Ocean Creek Golf Course on Fripp Island Resort in South Carolina.

The startled deer remained still and calm as the alligator walked past them.
