Reagan signed Amnesty (1986) and left in place chain migration, which has made worse for over 3 decades the costs and impacts of both illegal and legal immigration. Trump is trying to improve the immigration disaster, from previous administrations. Advantage TRUMP.

Both Reagan and Trump stood stronger, against major foreign enemies. TOSSUP.

Both cut taxes. TOSSUP.

If Reagan made any mistakes on immigration it was when he took the left at their word that they would honor their commitment to secure the borders. I do fault him for trusting those bastards.

If they had honored the legislation they & he signed we wouldn't be anywhere near where we are today.
