Former President Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama have bashed his successor, President Donald Trump, a dozen times since leaving the White House on Jan. 20, 2017.

In criticizing his successor — and doing so repeatedly — Obama has abandoned the precedent set by previous presidents. He and his wife have slammed Trump a dozen times since leaving office.

Honestly, given the ongoing commentary from President Trump, I don't blame President Obama for responding.

My response to the title was "What precedent?" 

Jimmy Carter attacked Bush 43 from the back and Obama endlessly from the front.  It's what Democrats do.

Obama is just following suit by attacking his successor.

I don't know what precedent their talking about, democrats have always talked crap about the incoming Republican from day one. :shrug: Actually the only ones that have actually broken precedent are the Bush boys and they only broke it to criticize a sitting Republican President.
