The problem with Trumpanomics, Trumpicanism, or whatever is that it is a one off. After Trump leaves the stage, there are no other Trumps. This is bad news for the Trumpsters who think they've found the permanent key to success in beating liberals with His Orangeness's style and swagger.
What will most likely happen is that many of the up and coming new populist pols who think they can replicate Trump's success is that they will most likely fall on their faces. Because, like Trump, they have no core conservative principles. And if they try to imitate Trump, they will just sound like pathetic losers...which most of they certainly are.
Trump has billions of dollars and was able to use that and his tv/huckster personality to sway millions. He was canny enough to realize the importance of the illegal immigration problem, and he jumped on it.
Having a clueless, humorless liberal shrew like Hillary Clinton for an opponent didn't hurt either.
But after he finally leaves the scene, there is no one similar to take his place.
Hopefully, we get back to days of trying to elect a principled conservative who is not an arrogant, egotistical, amoral buffoon. And who knows enough to not tweet his every waking ridiculous thought.
If there is still a Republican Party after he is gone.
