President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani acknowledged that he doesn’t know all the facts in the legal troubles facing his client.

During an appearing on Fox News’ “Justice with Judge Jeanine” on Saturday, Giuliani was asked if he misspoke or if the media misinterpreted what he previously said about Trump’s reimbursement to his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, for the $130,000 payment he gave to porn star Stormy Daniels in October 2016 as part of an agreement to keep her from going public with her alleged affair with Trump more than a decade ago.

“The facts I’m still learning,” he said Saturday. “I have been in the case for two weeks, virtually one day in comparison to other people. I’m not an expert on the facts yet. I’m getting there.”

His appearance on This Week is worse.  I haven't seen a crash a burn like this since the Six Million Dollar Man intro.  He's not helping at all.  Thankfully, they had sense enough to reject him for SoS consideration last year.

I was giving Giuliani the benefit of the doubt that he was ripping the band-aid off finally and simply going with the facts - Trump funded the payoff (duh) - and pushing hard to get to the point of “that’s old news” but I guess I was being too charitable by half.

After Rudy told Fox woman judge Saturday evening, he is still learning the facts, Rudy said today, Sunday, on a program,  Trump could take the 5th.  What a mess.

Rudy has said he’s handled similar situations for clients.  Who would want to hire him now?  Negotiating settlements and NDAs should be in the hands of the non-chaotic.

Giuliani initially said that he first made Trump aware of the payment shortly after joining his legal team but now says he doesn’t know when Trump found out about.   I’d say it’s indeed time to get your facts straight when you dismiss your own statements about your client’s legal case as “rumor” (which Giuliani did on “This Week”).   The clown show continues with only the very best clowns!

Well, I have a question.  Two weeks is a long time in politics.  Has Rudy been 'too busy' to get up to speed on the issue BEFORE going on Fox or any other tv show?  Idiotic, if so.  One skill the job requires is prioritization.  I'd have to call this one a semi-epic fail on Rudy's part.

Exactly.  What kind of strategy has you going up on a national stage to say "I am not an expert on the facts"

Except that.... it's mostly the idiot left that's laughing.  (and pointing)

It's embarrassing (or should be) to be that "seemingly" uninformed, that unorganized and that clueless.... in 'that' position.  I hope it's not indicative of things to come.... (See:  Sanders being demonized through no fault of her own).

Communication is key, especially in politics.  Trump needs to communicate these 'facts' to his underlings before they make fools of themselves on national tv..... cause it only glaringly exposes his failure to have done so.
