Connecticut Supreme Court overturns Michael Skakel’s conviction in the 1975 bludgeoning death of a girl in wealthy Greenwich

HARTFORD, Conn. — In a stunning reversal, the Connecticut Supreme Court on Friday overturned Kennedy cousin Michael Skakel’s murder conviction in the 1975 bludgeoning death of a girl in wealthy Greenwich.

The high court issued a 4-3 ruling that Skakel’s trial attorney failed to present evidence of an alibi. The same court in December 2016 had reinstated Skakel’s conviction after a lower court ordered a new trial, citing mistakes by the trial attorney, Mickey Sherman.

True.  But I often wonder if all the tragedies that have befallen the Kennedys are tied to the crimes they have committed and so many other terrible things they have done.  People have talked about the "Kennedy curse."  Well, maybe they are cursed with tragedy for the sins they have committed.

You ain't going to like this,but if it weren't for the Church Ladies the Kennedy Klan would have never gotten a national office.

Remember when one of the grandsons rented a house in a northeastern state so he could qualify to run for Congress there,and PBS had a tv camera crew following him and recording during the election,and when they went out into the audience to ask the Kennedy supporters why they were so enthusiastic about the campaign of a candidate who had never held elective office before,the standard reply was "Ohhh,I just LOVE all the Kennedy's. They are so handsome and they are Catholic,too!"?

Well,that and bribes by Old Man Joe,who admitted to buying the election for President for JFK.
