The president told reporters outside the White House that Rudy Giuliani is new and will “get his facts straight.”

On his new hire, Trump still had praise for Giuliani. “Rudy is a great guy but he just started a day ago,” he said. “But he really has his heart into it. He’s working hard. He’s learning the subject matter.”

   I think this is Trump and Giuliani paying Good cop Bad cop trying to get ahead of what Mueller got in his Cohen records siege.

I'm still puzzled as to how Trump though Giuliani would be an asset, after all he was one of those that leaked information about the e -mails during the campaign.  Why, oh why, would Trump want him after all this time?

I don't get it either.   At best, Giuliani is just not up to the job.  At worst, he sounds befuddled, unsure and confused in interviews I've seen him in on Fox.  Trump needs a shark in that position.  Rudy's a snail darter.  Not gonna cut it.

Sounds about  right to me.
Did you see that Federal judge get on Mueller's case today?
Basically, agreeing with a lot of us, that the broad brush deal was wrong, and the focus should have stopped at Russia.
