Johnson: DACA Creates ‘Incentive’ for Families to Exploit ‘Our Very Loose Immigration Laws’

by Pam Key26 Apr 201815

Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy created “a greater incentive” for unaccompanied children and others illegally due to “legal loopholes.”

Johnson said, “Since 2013, over 200,000 unaccompanied children from Central America have come into this country, 225,000 family units double that. We’re looking at 750,000 unaccompanied children and family units that have basically exploited our very loose immigration laws and are by-in-large in this country.”
