Caravan arrives, Honduran flags flying, middle fingers flashing

After a big buildup, the migrant caravan full of Central America's finest has finally arrived, and as screengrabs from local television broadcasts show, they gave America the bird.

Seriously. Buried in a News 8 broadcast from San Diego was footage of illegal migrants and their supporters on the U.S. side breaching the U.S. fence on the border, waving a big Honduran flag, victory-style, and whipping out a big middle finger at America.

In times past, arriving immigrants used to kiss the earth. Today, they wave the middle finger at us. Look at these photos, both from News 8 and the CBS national report, rough and blurry admittedly, showing just who what that caravan was about in all its anti-American tenor, which frankly, should have been the lede to the story:

Take lots of pictures. In the interview, explain to the prospective refugees that we don't need anyone who flips off our country inside our borders, we already have a surplus of those types, Then refuse them asylum and send them home or wherever. If Mexico gets enough of them bumming around, maybe they'll be a little less eager to let them through.

And yet some people poo-poohed the notion that Trump should have publicly issued shoot-to-kill orders on any invaders attempting to breach our borders.

Wait, what? I thought these poor refugees were safe, snuggled in the loving arms of their Mexican brethren, and not going to swarm the border like a plague of locusts.

Trump needs to put Hogs from the 944th to run sorties across the border and buzz the areas where those caravans have coalesced.  Put the fear of them into their hearts like we do Hadji in A'stan.

I think we are seeing a pivotal point and moment in the Trump presidency.

Let's see how serious he is in protecting the border.

That's.... because you don't play into your enemies hands by doing something that furthers their agenda and bolsters their campaign against you.   You really don't see/know that?

So how else do you plan on stopping this particular wave of invaders if not via intimidation?

Clearly nothing else is working, and I daresay that if the tables were reversed and a bunch of Americans were trying to get into the bunghole nations of South America - there would not be rhetoric of protecting their borders, but mass graves their soldiers would be digging for those of us attempting to breach their borders.

Trump can issue an immediate E.O. halt to any and all immigration into this country.

If he were actually serious about stopping this invasion.

You're conflating intimidation with shooting women and children in cold blood?  Seriously?

All Trump has to do is announce no asylum will be granted to these invaders... and then follow through.  It's just that simple.   I would tell them to seek asylum in Mexico, instead.

That is not going to stop the invasion.  Hell, there were LAWYERS sent down there to instruct them how to circumvent our laws and how to apply for welfare once they got in.

And, it's not a whole lot of women and children in that 'caravan'.  Looks more like foot soldiers of MS13 and other cartels and God-knows how many OTMs there are.

That 'caravan' flood of invaders is coming in here, and you and I are going to pay for their existence here and they know that our government is not going to stop them and that we will be forced to provide for them and they will vote for our rulers, hence the flying fingers of gratitude.

If we are not willing to show the world that we will protect our borders at all costs - then being invaded and conquered by any enemy anywhere is already a victory for them.
