@mystery-ak "Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., charged Friday that former FBI Director James Comey has shown that he is blind to his own flaws, and is someone who only wants to prosecute people he disagrees with politically."
If one reads Comey's book, one would know this is not a true statement. He made a conscious effort in every job he had that dealt with politicians, to keep politics out of his investigative process. Due to this, he did not vote. He speaks of his flaws as a human being, trying to do the right thing, so Gowdy is wrong when he says Comey is blind to his flaws. Gowdy should read Comey's history in the book. Comey attended William and Mary University and in his sophomore year, decided on a major in law and a minor in religion. He grew up in a Catholic home; he says religion gives a person a moral background. If one doesn't read his book, then don't presume to know the man as his life is there, including mistakes he has made. Know the history of a man to know the man. We are back to that statement I make: "Past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior."
Trump has done his usual with people he wants to denigrate - this time being Comey: say the same thing over and over about a person until the public agrees with him. This is a form of mass hypnosis and I was surprised that Comey knows this - he explains how Trump does it. mystery, I will send that portion to you by PM. I have already explained to you how Trump's mass hypnosis works. This is why people think Comey is "dirt" - they believe Trump and they can't see how Trump is manipulating them. Yes, it is the same way Captain Ahab did it in Moby Dick. Our literature class dissected Moby Dick several months ago. I explained mass hypnosis to them and then they could see how Ahab did it in the book.
