By The Hill Staff - 05/03/18 04:18 PM EDT

House Chaplain Patrick Conroy rescinded his resignation Thursday, saying that he was pressured to resign without cause.

Sources told The Hill last month that Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) had forced the chaplain out.

Nice establishment GOP goof.

Ryan sort of epitomizes the establishment GOPer, with few accomplishments, a bit of posturing against Trump, etc.

Don't forget, he was a lousy VP campaigner, too.

Go back to Wisconsin Paul.  Be useful in your post government career.  Join the priesthood or something.  Or a Nunnery.

Truly worthless.  And it's not a new thing.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

I was thinking that him trying out a simple private sector 8-4 gig for the first time in his life would be an improvement.
