Valerie Plame's husband calls Trump 'vile and despicable' after Libby pardon

Former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, whose CIA agent wife's cover was leaked in 2003, blasted President Trump on Friday as "vile and despicable" after he pardoned I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby.

In a statement obtained by HuffPost, Wilson called Trump an "utterly unacceptable" leader, and accused him of allowing individuals who put U.S. national security at risk to run free.

"Mr. Trump is willing to allow people to violate the essence of our defense structure, our national security, our intelligence apparatus and essentially get away with it," Wilson said.

Exactly right. That always confused me about the entire case. She was never undercover. She was never a covert spy. She was a glorified secretary. Her employment with the CIA was never any 'big secret'. She never had any 'cover' as they call it, to blow. How can you 'blow her cover' if she had no cover to begin with?

This really is one of the biggest travesty of justice I have ever seen or heard about in D.C. It is impossible to understand why Bush didn't do more to help him. But then, 'W' always was well known for being a wimp, so...
