Night Owls At Higher Risk For Premature Death

Robert Glatter, MD , Contributor

This is a public health issue that can no longer be ignored
whether you are a night owl or a morning person is determined by a combination of genetics and environmental factors.

Whether you are morning person (lark) or a night owl often becomes a point of discussion among friends, family, or coworkers, since it may reveal important personality traits or characteristics about you.

But belonging to one of these groups now turns out to have important mortality implications, as many have long suspected, but never formally substantiated.

My grandmother was a night owl. She lived to a mere 96 y/o.
The Republic is lost.
