A Los Angeles woman who worked for President Donald Trump's presidential campaign has filed a federal lawsuit in Manhattan to void a confidentiality agreement she signed, claiming the agreement has been "weaponized" to silence her allegations of discrimination.

You sign a contract then you've signed a contract. Makes them pretty meaningless if you're able to back out at any time because you don't like it.

You sign a contract then you've signed a contract. Makes them pretty meaningless if you're able to back out at any time because you don't like it.

NDAs are generally not enforceable in regards to politicians due to the 1st Amendment. Also, a private contract can't supersede criminal law - such as in the case of harassment as is claimed here.
