Remember liberals of today are recycled commies, the literal Spawn of Stalin. Even more important, they are utopians of cult-ike and psychopathic devotion to their worldview and the belief that they should be in power to implement it.
Never forget that - it is the #1 principle in dealing with the Left. No matter how nice and sincere they seem, or how emotional, or 'compassionate,' in the end the only way they can achieve utopia is to get rid of all those who don't go along with the plan.
In dealing with liberals in politics, the objective is to have them end up on the street in cardboard boxes and eating out of dumpsters - which is kind and compassionate because many of them should be lined against a wall and shot for treason.
The only time you ever apologize to liberais is as a tactical retreat, so you can come back and club them like a baby seal later on.
If that's too harsh for anyone, then by all means do not get into politics.
