Trump: Border wall construction will start on Monday

President Trump said Friday that construction of his promised border wall would start "immediately" after signing the omnibus spending bill, which included $1.6 billion in funding for the wall.

"We're going to be starting work literally on Monday," Trump said during an event Friday at the White House. "We have a lot of money coming to the border."

Trump had threatened earlier Friday to veto the spending bill Congress passed on Thursday because it did not include sufficient funding for the wall and because it omitted expiring protections for young, undocumented immigrants.

Although the White House requested $25 billion in funding for wall construction, lawmakers included just $1.6 billion in the final version of their omnibus. That money can only go to fencing, however, and cannot be used to build a concrete wall anywhere along the border.

"Not happy with $1.6 billion for the wall," Trump said.

Still, Trump described the sum as an "initial down payment" on the wall that would allow his administration to begin building it right away.

"This is short term funding, but it's immediate," Trump said.

I read that part of the bill a few days ago and the allotted money is to "fix" the existing fence, not build a new wall.  Little Parade Boy is literally crazy.  He doesn't know what he is saying or doing from one day to the next.  He also says he doesn't know Stormy or the Bunny girl, never met them, it didn't happen, but they were paid off.  There is no truth in him.

It is his saying he doesn't know them that has gotten him in more trouble.  Now, they have sued him and from what I read/saw today, he will have to go to court for these civil trials while he is president; he can't get out of it.  Once the cases were filed against him, he shut up.  I heard today, he may turn against his lawyer handling these cases.  The lawyer who paid Stormy the $130,000.  Since Trump became an adult, he has had ongoing court cases.  He sued others and/or they sued him.  I hope some Republican runs against him next time, if he manages to stay president until that time.

Yeah, just the highest consumer confidence in 18 years, historic levels of employment for minorities, low unemployment for everyone. I will take that crazy and that truth any time. Defeating ISIS and close to denuclearizing North Korea, these two international problems, not his own fault at all.

Trump just stopped Medicare from paying for my hydrocodone pain pills.  I have private med insurance, and now they won't cover that pain med due to Trump's "war" on drugs.  That rule goes into effect next Monday; there is a time period for reviewing the rule, then it starts next January 1.  All people with Medicare will have to pay the full price of the pills and can get only seven days of pills. 

Three days ago, my back muscles on left side, grabbed and I couldn't move due to the massive pain.  I took the anti-spasm pills the doc had given me and those pain pills.  When I had to go to bathroom, once, I bent from my waist forward, horizontal to the floor so the pain was bearable bent over like that, and hobbled to the bathroom.  Sure, Little Parade Boy, take away my pills.

That is correct, they are putting in new fencing and some other stuff. The wall is not being built.
Trump should stop claiming it is being built, he is hurting his own credibility by make false claims.

I said all along this war on opioids is going to harm those who legitimately need these medications, while the abusers will still find a way to get their fix.

Oh boy.  I'm not on Medicare yet, but have private insurance.  My entire body occasionally goes into spasms so much that I can't sit, stand, kneel, or lay down without being in pain.  You guessed it, I just shift from position to position from minute to minute. I usually take hydrocodone along with an anti-spasmodic and hope for the best till things settle down.  I know somewhat what you're going through.  This is what I was afraid of with this 'new and improved' war and drugs; it's going to totally screw people who need pain meds!  When you're in that much pain, something is needed right that minute, not next week, not another trip to the docs, but meds on hand!  A**holes!!
