Trey Gowdy: Trump Has Done More to Combat Russia Than Obama

Rep. Trey Gowdy made waves over the weekend when he completely blew up the Democrat line on Trump and Russia.

For months, we’ve heard nothing from the liberal press other than that Trump is soft on Russia, and is letting Vladimir Putin get his way in international affairs. We’ve also been told that Russia is working fervently to undermine American democracy while Trump fiddles with his thumbs and plays on Twitter.

Well, Gowdy put that narrative up against the wall and plugged it full of rhetorical bullets. Here’s what he said on Fox News Sunday when asked about Trump’s response to Russia:

In fairness, the first Russian sanctions were first imposed/passed at the tail end of the Obama Administration.

But otherwise...yeah.  Trump took a much tougher stand regarding the Ukraine, and was far more willing to confront Russia's pawn Syria.

Gowdy has done less as a legislator than most and more than anyone to promote goofy hair styles.
