I noticed that the Brits didn't even mention the Moller Skycar.  (The Moller Skycar has been around for years, but it has not gotten FAA approval.)  The latest generation, Model 400, is a pretty good-looking toy (Operational Prototype at this time).

It technically qualifies as a car, I believe, but I don't think it's a great automobile.
