On this week’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” Rep. Trey Gowdy (R.-S.C.) addressed President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer John Dowd suggesting Special Counsel Robert Muller’s probe should end in light of the ouster of FBI Director Andrew McCabe

Gowdy said, “I think the president’s attorney frankly does him a disservice when he says that and when he frames the investigation in that way. If you look at the jurisdiction of Robert Mueller, first and foremost, what did Russia do to this country in 2016? That is supremely important, and it has nothing to do with collusion. To suggest that McCabe should shut down and all that he is looking at his collusion, if you have an innocent client, act like it. Russia attacked our country. Let special counsel Mueller figure that out. If we believe as we have found there is no evidence of collusion, you should want special counsel Mueller to take all the time, to have all the independence he needs to do his job.”

Hey Rep. Trey, you and your statemate Lindsey both seem untroubled by the wide range of the actual investigation, e.g. Manafort for previous years, besides 2016, etc.

Like Issa before him, these clowns never get anything actually done, besides their microphone time.

More political entertainment, and that's about it.  Nothing happened with the Clinton investigation and I don't think Trump even wanted it too.  When the guy honors her at his inauguration lunch and his daughter is graced to sit with the Clintons.  Now more entertainment.  Manafort and Bannon both Trump men from the get go.  Trump firing everyone to shut down the investigation.  FOX News to the rescue!  Wow, what an incredible mini series this would make! 

Top it with all the Trump fans patiently waiting for the next series of reality show........

This is way better than the Apprentice and it has actually penetrated the highest office of government.  Good job America!

Yeah... tell that to Flynn.  It's a proven fact that Mueller & Co. set him up and he fell in the trap.  Gowdy knows full well how it works.  Gowdy is just another snake-in-the-grass and swamp-dweller, IMO.
